If you come down to the canal on Wednesdays in the summer holidays, you’ll be sure of a big surprise! We’re running Teddy Bears Picnic storyboat trips!

Every Wednesday from 29th July to 26th August 2026. Trips at 14:00, 15:00 & 16:00.

£12 per child; £8 per adult.

• Teddy bears picnic story time on the boat while adults chill with the view
• Refreshments for kids and grown-ups
• Games in the garden
• Approx 1 hour of fun – kids must be accompanied by an adult
• Bring your own picnic – use our canal-side garden or treat yourselves at Café@Lock 81
• A Book will be given to every child

Most suitable for children aged 2 – 11, but all children are welcome. Babies under 12 months go free and do not need to be booked.

Reserve a place now. Advance booking only. Our events often sell out, so book early!
